Who I Am

Hi, I'm Sean Son — an AI/ML Engineer currently based in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

I spent over 25 years in Korea working as a Data Scientist and Data Engineer across retail, manufacturing, and marketing industries. In December 2025, I made the move to the United States on my own, without relying on any agency or immigration consultant, and I've been building my life here ever since.

I'm currently completing a Master's degree in AI/ML while working in the field, always looking for ways to apply cutting-edge AI to real-world problems.
